Double Vision!
The benefit of a backlog, you get to see these two figures in one post! Lol. First up is the Vision from the Hulkbuster BAF series. He's based on Avengers A.I. I think. I haven't been keeping up with the comics. He's got a nice head sculpt. There's hardly any expression on his face which is okay for him. The solar jewel was painted. It looks like a tiny drop of extra paint was applied on top to give it a little raised look. I would have preferred if it were sculpted. The body reuses the Bucky Captain America body. His left hand is way too big. He should have had two fists like on the next figure. His costume has segments of shiny emerald and metallic light green paint which they did very well. It also has good linework on the forearms and legs. He wears Grim Reaper's cape. It's just all yellow here with no shading. It fits well on him. I'll show you what I mean in just a bit. The figure is interesting, certainly eye catching. I'm not a fan of the design though and much prefer the classic look.

Here's the back view without the cape. They kept up the paint detail here. A lot of the times the back doesn't get much paint.
Finishing up the Avengers Collectors Edition 3-pack. This Vision is based on his appearance from West Coast Avengers when he got taken apart and rebuilt. Oops spoiler... He became all white after that incident. The figure is basically the same figure as the Hulkbuster BAF series one. It's translucent here with white paint applied. One key difference is that he's barefooted, which was how he appeared in the comics. I like that he's got them when they could have so easily just given us the boots again. You know what, if we remove the paint detail we can have an Iceman figure. Darn it! Now I'm tempted to get another one... Some of the joints have paint on them. It's starting to get scrapped off in some areas. It wasn't as apparent on the A.I. Vision but here the head is flat on his right side. It may be due to effect of the way he was painted. His silver eyes and solar jewel were well done, as were the black outline for the them and the lines on the torso. The cape is translucent and has white paint sprayed on. His cape is supposed to start from the lines on his upper torso. With the given cape it looks off. Actually the A.I. Vision's cape doesn't suit him either. There's no paint on the back of the figure.

"Ooh what lovely feet you have."
Just to illustrate what I meant about the cape fitting well. On the A.I Vision there's distance between cape and body. It gives the appearance of the wind catching it. Whereas on the white Vision, the cape just hangs on his back.
Articulation. They both have a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot.

Comparison shots.
I still prefer the Toy Biz figure. At least now we have a more versions for the different team rosters. Thanks for viewing!
